Lady Mariners Clip Falcons 6-0
Castine, Maine – Senior Sarah Paquette (Rochester, VT) scored twice and had an assist on the day leading MMA to the 6-0 victory over Fisher College Sunday afternoon at Ritchie Field. The Lady Mariners outshot Fisher 33 to 1 and controlled play throughout the match.
The Lady Mariners scored five times in the first half en route to the 6-0 victory over Fisher. MMA got two first half goals from Emily Brogden (Union, ME) and Sarah Paquette while Emma Damon (Bar Harbor, ME) added her first collegiate goal.
Autumn Jones (Windham, ME) collected here first collegiate goal at the 55-minute mark, giving MMA the six-goal advantage.
Lacey Jackson (York, PA) got the win for MMA making 1 save on 1 shot. Kaliegh Gilbert (Lawrence, MA) took the loss for the Falcons making 15 saves on 33 shots. The win improves MMA’s record to 5-3 on the season while Fisher drops to 0-5.
