Three Lady Mariners receive NAC All-Conference recognition

Young named Player of the Year

Maine Maritime middle hitter Amy Young was selected the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Young led the conference in hitting percentage (.362) while ranking among the league leaders in kills per game (3.10) and service aces per game (.86).

Husson freshman middle hitter Kaitlyn McKay was honored as the conference Rookie of the Year. McKay ranked among the league leaders in hitting percentage and kills averaging 3.10 kills per conference set while hitting .342. Husson coach Patrick DeBeck was honored as NAC Coach of the Year. DeBeck, who is in his 9th season with the Eagles, led his squad to a perfect 6-0 mark in conference play and the top seed in the NAC Tournament.

Lyndon State College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches. Additional players honored are due to ties in the voting.
