 Lady Mariners defeat Unity College 3-0
At Unity, MMA defeated Unity 3-0 (30-13, 30-20, 30-24). Amy Young (Cumberland, ME) led the Lady Mariners with 11 kills, Michelle Ferry (Princeton, ME) added 10 kills, and Becca Allen (Bucksport, ME) added 33 assists.
MMA used a well balanced offensive attack to defeat the Rams in 3 games. Kristi Gordon (Auburn, ME) had a career high 7 kills and Ashley Tilton (Lubec, ME) added 6 kills and 10 digs in the match. Katherine McMillan (Belfast, ME) had a career high 6 aces.
The Mariners move to 2-3 on the season and will host Thomas College and UMaine Farmington on Saturday. Game times are 11am and 2pm, with games being played in the Margaret Chase Smith Gymnasium.
