Lady Mariners lose to UM Machias 3-2
 The Lady Mariners lost a five set match to the UM Machias Clippers by the score of 3-2 tonight to drop their season record to 4-4. Despite the loss, it was a record setting night for sophomore middle hitter Amy Young (pictured right)
Game scores on the evening were 30-24, 24-30, and 20-30, 30-15, and 12-15.
Leading the way for MMA was Amy Young with 19 kills, 6 assists, 26 digs and 6 blocks. The 26 digs broke a school record for digs in a match and she tied her own record for blocks in a match with 6. Michelle Ferry had 11 kills, 5 aces and 19 digs, while Nicole St. Pierre added 11 kills on the night. Becca Allen dished out 30 assists in the MMA attack.
Next up for the Lady Mariners are two matches on Saturday at Bay Path College. The Lady Mariners take on Bay Path at 10am, and Elms at 12:00pm.
