Stanley honored as NAC Player of the Week

McClolskey NAC Rookie of the Week & Burke NAC Pitcher of the Week

Stanley carried the MMA offense to two wins this weekend and a 2-0 week for the Lady Mariners. The junior infielder went 4-for-6 from the dish with seven RBI's and two runs scored. She also had two walks whicj gave her a .750% OBP for the week. Of her four hits, she had two doubles and a triple to go along with a SAC fly.








Burke picked up her third win of the season improving to 3-0 on the year. She pitched five solid innings giving up seven hits and zero walks while striking out three batters. The freshman hurler gave up three runs with only two being earned.










McCloskey continued her torrid start to the 2010 season, collecting her second win in as many starts and was perfect from the plate in MMA's two games. McCloskey pitched five innings giving up just one hit and one run while collecting six strikeouts. Casey improved to 2-0 and now has a earned run average of .75 on the season. McCloskey did her part at the plate as well, going 5-for-5 with a walk in six plate appearances. She scored three runs and collected three RBI's to go along with two steals.
