Higgins honored as NAC Player of the Week

Higgins led MMA to a 3-0 week after going 5-for-10 from the dish with four runs and four RBI's. Higgins had a .545 on base percentage, had a slugging % of 1.100 and collected 11 bases. She hit her first home run of 2010 while collecting a double, triple, and two singles. She also stole a base.

Burke started her MMA career in style, picking up two wins in MMA's 3-0 week while going 4-for-8 from the plate with two home runs and five RBI's. Burke only walked one batter while striking out 8 in 14 innings of work in picking up two wins in her first two collegiate starts. She also finished the week with a 1.250 slugging percentage and a .500 on base percentage.








McCloskey pitched one game this week and came away with four hit shutout in her first collegiate start. The freshman hurler scattered four hits over seven innings while striking out 10 batters. She is 1-0 on the season with a 0.00 ERA.
