Maine Maritime wins Mariner Invitational Invitational Baribault wins individual honors Castine, Maine --The Maine Maritime Academy men's cross country team took four of the first five places in the five-mile race to win the Mariner Invitational crown today on the grounds of the Castine Yacht and Golf Club. The Mariners accumulated a score of 23 for the win. MMA was followed by Johnson State (63) and UMaine Presque Isle (65) while Thomas and Unity College failed to record scores. Greg Baribault (MMA) won the individual title with a time of 29:51. Tyler Toothaker (Thomas) at 29:59, Matthew Methot (MMA) at 30:18, Lucas Miller (MMA) at 30:31 and Evan Vashon (MMA) at 30:43 rounded out the top five.
