Nate Tipton named NAC Player of the Week
Nate Tipton, Maine Maritime
(Freshman, Striker - West Chester, Pa.)
The freshman striker was instrumental in helping MMA to a 2-1 week scoring all three of the Mariners goals this week. Tipton scored both of MMA's goals in their 2-1 defeat of UMPI including the game winner four minutes into overtime.
The Mariners split two conference games in Vermont and in a 1-0 conference win against Lyndon State, Tipton scored the only goal of the game early in the second half.
