Castine, Maine --- Senior forward Rui Carmo (Cape Coral, FL) scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds propelling Green Mountain College to a 62-57 victory over Maine Maritime Academy in a North Atlantic Conference match up. Castine, Maine --- The Castleton State College Men’s basketball team used a balanced offensive attack and solid defense to take home a victory Friday night as they defeated Maine Maritime Academy 66-46 in a North Atlantic Conference match up. Badgers use strong 2nd half to get by Mariners
JOHNSON, Vt. (February 12, 2010) – Johnson State College outscored visiting Maine Maritime Academy 29-11 over the first nine minutes of the first half to gain control of a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men’s basketball contest and earn a 65-55 victory at Carter Gym on Friday. The win is the third consecutive and fourth in five games for the surging Badgers who move to 8-14 overall and 4-7 in the NAC. MMA falls to 5-17 overall and 1-10 in the NAC. More>

Castine, Maine --- The Husson University Men’s basketball team took an 11-point halftime lead and extended it to 25 late in the second half beating Maine Maritime Academy on Tuesday 68-43 a conference match up.
