Maine Maritime defeat UMaine Presque Isle

With a composite score of 340, the Maine Maritime Golf team defeated UMaine Presque Isle by nine shots in a college match played at Presque Isle Country Club in Presque Isle, ME.

The Mariners beat UMPI by a score of 340 to 349. Mike Smith (pictured left) and Nathan Bears lead the Mariners with a scores of 84. They were followed by Charlie Boulrisse with a 85, Mark Bailey with an 87 and Chris Johnson with a 90.

For UMaine Presque Isle Erik Wiechen led the way with a 81. He was followed by Matt Dubay with an 84, Paul Icci with an 94, and AJ Pennarte with a 95.

Next up for the Mariners is the Mariners Classic tournament at Castine GC on September 30th.
