Maine Maritime Finishes 8th in Thomas College Terrier Golf Invitational

With a composite score of 362, the Maine Maritime Golf team finished 8th in the Thomas College Terrier Invitational Golf Tournament held on Monday September 11 at the Waterville Country Club in Oakland, Maine. Michael Smith was low scorer for MMA with an 84 for the tournament, which was played under rainy conditions.

Other MMA scorers were sophomore Nathan Bears with an 86, Chris Johnson with a 94, Jason Johnson with a 98 and Mark Bailey also with a 98.

Bowdoin College's Ryan Blossom shot a 71 to gain medalist honors and St. Joseph's College finished first for the team championship.

MMA is again in action on Saturday September 16, when they travel to Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, in Belgrade for the UMF Invitational.
