Maine Maritime Mariner Athletes of the Year
In the spring of 2005, Jim Dyer, Director of Athletics at Maine Maritime announced the first male and female "Athletes of the Year" during the season ending all sports banquet. The initiative has continued and annually goes to the outstanding male and female student athlete within the Mariner athletic department.
